• Melissa Lim, Proposition Sales Specialist, Risk, ASEAN, Refinitiv
• Melissa is the Risk Proposition Specialist for Refinitiv's Risk and Compliance solutions. She covers financial institutions, strategic accounts and corporates across the ASEAN region. During her time with Refinitiv, she has helped banks, ministries, insurances, and e-commerce platforms consolidate their AML/CFT efforts through a detailed understanding of client and regulatory needs

Anusuya Yogarajah is a qualified lawyer in Singapore and the UK and holds a PhD in International Business & Law from the Nanyang Technological University. Anu has over 25 years of experience in legal, compliance, risk and governance in both private practice and in-house roles in the financial services and healthcare industries including senior positions at Manulife, Marsh & McLennan Compliance, Davita Inc and CXA. Leading the legal, compliance and governance function for these companies over the APAC region she was responsible for developing and implementing their compliance infrastructure and strategy. She is able to build compliance functions from scratch and adapting a global compliance program to address regional/local/regulatory and local business requirements. At CXA, she was part of the leadership team to build the technology based health and wellness platform which had over a million users across 20 countries - ensuring compliance with data privacy and information security requirements. She also has extensive experience in investigations on matters ranging from breaches of the Code of Conduct, local regulations, data privacy and anti-corruption including the US FCPA and the UK Bribery Act. Anu is married with 2 children. Her spare time is spent finding ways to help children from needy families anywhere in the world to get a basic education.

Irene is responsible for managing compliance Financial Crime and conduct risk for the Wealth Management  business. Prior to that Irene was Head Compliance, Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Africa and  Middle East. Irene has been fortunate to work for Standard Chartered in Kenya, UAE, USA and Singapore,  benefiting immensely from the rich learning that comes from diversity.

Irene joined SCB as the Head Legal and Compliance Consumer Banking, Kenya and in 2014 moved on to Head  Legal and Compliance Retail Client and Wealth, Africa. She joined SCB from Barclays Bank where she worked  as Legal Counsel supporting various businesses and functions. She has worked with Barclays in India, Tanzania  and South Africa.

Irene is a lawyer and was recognised in 2015 as one of Africa’s top 100 General Counsel by Legal 500 a leading  global Legal Research Firm.

Royston Tan serves as legal counsel to Atos, a listed multinational IT company specializing in digital transformation, cloud, big data and cybersecurity services. Royston manages Atos' legal function in Singapore (where he is based), Korea, Australia and New Zealand, providing legal support to more than 300 employees. In his role, Royston leads Technology, Media and Telecommunications deals in the jurisdictions he oversees, as well as handles internal investigations, data privacy and compliance matters. Before joining Atos, Royston was a practicing lawyer specializing in dispute resolution, white collar crime and investigations work. Royston has acted in numerous investigations on behalf of US, European and Asian-based companies facing corruption, fraud, regulatory and product safety issues.

Pravin Pandey Arvyta is a Director of eDiscovery & Data Advisory, Legal at Standard Chartered Bank. In his role, he provides support and operational leadership to the team globally in the development and use of trusted methods to collect and share data in an accurate, fully auditable and timely manner. Prior to Standard Chartered, Pravin was a Director in a Big Four firm, and led a regional forensics team providing advisory services in the area of digital forensic examinations, data breach and online investigations, eDiscovery consulting, managed document review, information lifecycle management and enterprise contract management. Pravin is a highly qualified digital forensics and eDiscovery practitioner who is regularly invited to speak at legal and industry events. He has been published in local and international publications, and has appeared as an expert witness in both litigation and arbitration matters regionally. He is also currently the President of the High Tech Crime Investigation Association, Singapore Chapter.

April Raimundo – Legal and Compliance Director, Greystar April is the Legal and Compliance Director for Greystar’s Asia-Pacific business and their first employee in Singapore. In this role, she oversees Greystar’s Code of Conduct and regulatory compliance program in the region. In addition, April spearheads legal structuring, investor documentation and acquisition activities as Greystar, the global leader in residential housing continues to invest across the region. Prior to Greystar, April spent 8 years at EFA Group as Chief Legal and Compliance officer andserved as a member of the company’s executive committee. She is credited for setting up EFA Group’s global legal and compliance framework. During her private practice career, April was in the corporate and commercial group of Quisumbing Torres, a member firm of Baker McKenzie. April is qualified to practice law in England and Wales, and the Philippines. She was named one of 5 in house counsels in the 2016 edition of Asian Legal Business’ 40 Under lawyers. She sits in the International Relations Committee and Public Law Help Committee of the Law Society of Singapore.

Ms Hoon joined SingPost in August 2018 as Chief Legal Officer & Group Company Secretary to lead the Legal, Compliance, and Company Secretarial functions reporting to the Group CEO. In this role, Ms Hoon leads a team of professionals at the Group corporate office, to handle the legal advisory and compliance governance across the Group. Her responsibilities include corporate governance and Board practices, managing regulatory relationships and compliance and risk governance. SingPost is Singapore’s sole licensed postal service provider. Today, SingPost is pioneering and leading in eCommerce logistics as well as providing innovative mail and logistics solutions in Singapore and around the world, with operations in 19 markets. Ms Hoon has over three decades of C-Suite leadership experience as head of legal, compliance, risk management and company secretarial functions, mostly in-house with major regional listed companies. Her experience extends across various sectors including financial services, healthcare, engineering services and leisure and hospitality. In her current and previous roles, Ms Hoon has been involved in complex M & As, corporate restructuring and insolvencies, organizational transformation and shareholder engagements.

Rachel brings with her more than 20 years of diverse and deep experience in corporate governance, risk management, internal audit (including third-party reviews), integrated assurance, compliance, finance transformation, business process re-engineering, sustainability, SOX 404 and FCPA.

Rachel currently leads the Risk and Internal Controls function for the Fullerton Health Group. In alignment with the Group’s strategic direction,she is a strong collaborator in pivoting to strengthen and provide insights on the adequacy and effectiveness of the Group’s governance, risk management and internal controls.

Rachel has held other senior roles, both in the Big 4 professional firms; as a Director at KPMG’s Risk Consulting practice, and a Fortune 100 organisation where she was overseeing Compliance for the SEA, India and ANZ region.

She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Accounting and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance from Monash University. Rachel is also a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Practising Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner.

As part of work life integration, Rachel enjoys playing the piano to her favourite melodies, travelling to new destinations to feed her aspiration for new skylines and horizons (hopefully soon again!) and brisk walking or swimming. A “nyonya” by heritage, Rachel is passionate about sharing the rich Peranakan culture and had the opportunity to do so by once being a regular docent at the Peranakan Museum.
